8th grade traveling team takes 3rd in Hastings

The TCU 8th grade traveling basketball team had some weekend tournament play when they travelled to Hastings for the Hastings Tournament. The team is made up of Tyler Henze, Billy Odenthal, Cade Readmond, Tyler Nesmoe, Taylor Crosby, Blake Sladek, Jaymin Vargo, Kyle Hintz, and Taylor Jackson. “The boys played great defense, passing with very few turnovers,” said their coaches Ted Odenthal and Troy Jackson. In game one, TCU beat Red Wing, 28-27. In game two, the Titans lost to Lakeville South, 35-30. In game three, TCU beat Mankato East, 30-12. (Submitted Photo)
