Adapted floor hockey team begins second year
New Prague's adapted floor hockey team began its second season last week, losing to the South Suburban Jets 16-1 and to Winona 14-2.
Lynn Broberg is coach for the Trojans, who compete in the CI (cognitive impaired) division of the sport. Adapted Floor Hockey is sanctioned by the Minnesota State High School League. Shellie Kriha is her assistant.
New Prague has a small (10 players) and very young team. The Trojans lost two of the leaders and their goalie off of last year's squad, which won three games. Broberg says she expects a rough start to the season as the players adapt to the game.
