Adapted team splits games

The New Prague Trojan adapted floor hockey team split a pair of games recently, defeating Minneapolis Edison 14-0 and losing at home to South Washington County 13-7

The Trojans were scheduled to host their final home game of the regular season Wednesday, Feb. 22, against Owatonna. They play at Dakota United Monday, Feb. 27, then will compete in a state tournament qualifying game the week of March 6. As of February 21, their record was 7-3, and that should earn them a home playoff game.

Trojans 14, Tommies 0 "Our kids came out with a lot of fire and determination against a team that has struggled this season, and it was a good opportunity for everyone to get some significant playing time," coach Shellie Kriha said of the team’s 14-0 win over Minneapolis Edison.
