Adult CPR class set for Queen of Peace

Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague is offering Heartsaver CPR: Adult Module – CPR and AED, from 8 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Oct. 16, in the Hospital Conference Center. The class is designed to teach adult CPR, automatic defibrillation and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO) to all lay rescuers, particularly those who are expected to respond to emergencies in the home or workplace. A course card documenting successful completion of the course will be issued.

There is a cost for the class, which includes textbook and CPR card, per person or per couple. There is a price break for those taking both the Adult CPR class and the Infant/Child CPR on October 23.
