Agnes H. Skluzacek, 84
Agnes H. Skluzacek, 84, of Prior Lake, died on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005, at Mala Strana Health Care Center in New Prague.
She was born to Charles and Mary (Vavrik) Meduna on November 6, 1920, in Pisek, ND.
She married Joseph F. Skluzacek on September 17, 1949, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in St. Paul. Agnes was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church CCW, an adult leader for Credit River Comets 4-H Club and was active in the D.F.L. Party. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, sewing, genealogy and time spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph F. Skluzacek; children, Ag-Rita (David) Efta, St. Patrick, Joseph J. (Kim) Skluzacek, Penelope “Penny” Skluzacek, Lakeville; grandchildren, Jason and Christine Efta, Andy (Brandy) Skluzacek, Simon Skluzacek; great-grandchildren, Emily and Carson; sister, Mary Marcotte, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Meduna.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Prior Lake. Pallbearers were Jason and Christine Efta, Andy and Simon Skluzacek, Frank Meduna and Ronald Seurer.
Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home in Prior Lake.
Interment was at Credit River Cemetery.
