Agnes Kratochvil recovering from injuries
A New Prague woman was injured Friday morning when she was struck by a semitrailer truck on Main Street in New Prague.
Agnes Kratochvil, 82, was crossing Main Street when she was hit by the semi at about 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2. According to her son, Jim, she suffered a head injury and was taken by ambulance to Queen of Peace Hospital. She was later airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, where she underwent surgery for swelling in the brain.
As of Wednesday morning, she was out of intensive care and recovering from her injuries.
She will be undergoing evaluation from an occupational therapist
