Ambulance Service honors members
Day or night, members of the Montgomery Ambulance Service have one thing in common: saving lives.
At its annual awards banquet on January 21 at the American Legion Club, the service honored several of its members for the volunteer work they do saving lives. Some ambulance members retired. Others celebrated a milestone anniversary.
There were also two members who have volunteered above and beyond the line of duty, and the service recognized them as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)/Driver of the Year.
EMS Director Neil Vlasak, said Jenney Stephens was honored as the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) of the Year, and Jim Chromy was the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)/Driver of the Year.
