American Legion makes changes at Park Ballroom

The New Prague American Legion has made some changes over the past few months to the Park Ballroom, both inside and outside of the building.

George Tupy, Commander of the American Legion post, said this year's board approved a variety of changes. Included in the work have been a new cooler and freezer and a new roof on the west side of the building. Also part of the improvements have been the replacement of the old grill and a new heating and air conditioning system. It was also decided to make the building totally smoke-free.

The biggest change is that the dance floor was completely redone. The last time it was worked on was seven years ago.
