Anderson

Mr. and Mrs. David and Kathleen Anderson celebrated 50 years of marriage on January 6, 2018. A gathering was held in their honor at the home of Timothy and Kimberly Lynch in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. This was Kathleen's childhood home and the site of their wedding 50 years ago. Hosts were children of the couple, Mrs. Patricia Sperry (92-year-old mother of Kathleen) and Mr. and Mrs. Timothy and Kimberly Lynch, brother and sister- in-law of Kathleen. The intimate celebration included the immediate family members of the couple.

David and Kathleen were married at Kathleen's childhood home in Coon Rapids on January 6, 1968. David spent over 35 years as a transportation agent for Northwest Airlines. Kathleen was employed as a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines for 42 years. The couple moved to the Elko/New Market area in 1974. Together they built a home, developed a hobby farm, and raised 10 children through birth and adoption and over a dozen children through foster care. They were actively involved in the adoption movement and in 4H.

They enjoy spending time with their 9 grandchildren and count them among their many blessings.
