Andrina Radermacher, 93,

Andrina C. Radermacher, 93, of Jordan, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at The Gardens in Shakopee, surrounded by her family.

She was born on November 26, 1916, in Jordan, a daughter of Jacob and Margaret (Schaak) Weckman. She married Roman R. Radermacher on October 15, 1935, at St. John the Baptist Church in Jordan.

Andrina took pride and was particular about cooking, especially her fried chicken, chow mien and pot roast. She had a love for big band music such as Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey and Lawrence Welk. A huge fan of the Minnesota Twins, she was also a talented pianist and was the organist for the St. John's Church Choir. Andrina enjoyed playing cards and spending special time with family. In her early years, she was a member of the Christian Mother's Society and Catholic Aid Society, all at St. John the Baptist Church, and also a member of the Jordan Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by eight children Lee (Marilyn) Radermacher, Kitty (Pat) Dolan, Sue (David) Suman, Mary (Joe) Benko, Allie (Bob) Cronk, Nancy Busch, Chipper (Todd) Perkins and Frank (Mari) Radermacher; 32 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and siblings Helen Hamer and Julian (Dorothy) Weckman.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 1/2 years; her parents; and a brother Elmer Weckman.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Jan. 16, at 9 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan, with Rev. Timothy Yanta officiating.

Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Jordan. Pall-bearers were Steve Radermacher, Tom Dolan, Katy Schuerman, Greg Benko, Allie Cronk, Matt Busch, Max Perkins, and Peter Radermacher.

Visitation was held from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home in Jordan, and also one hour prior to the services at church.
