Annual Musicfest set for this weekend

The local chapter of the Polka Lovers Klub of America (Po.L.K. of A.) is presenting its 11th annual Musicfest, Friday, Aug. 21, through Sunday, Aug. 23, at the Park Ballroom in New Prague.

Groups scheduled to appear are Julie Lee & the White Rose Band, Gary's Ridgeland Dutchmen, Country Polkateers, the Leon Olsen Show and Music Connection. Dancing begins at 7 p.m. August 21 and noon on Saturday, Aug. 22, and Sunday, Aug. 23.
