Other closures
The Minnesota Department of Transportation has reported many closures throughout the state, with more coming in the Twin Cities area as waters in the Minnesota and Mississippi rivers continue to rise. It may take several weeks before some of the roads can be reopened. Drivers should take note of possible closures and plan ahead in case they encounter detours or delays.
Rice County
Rice County reports that all county highways that were closed over the weekend have reopened, but there may be some areas of standing water. Drivers are asked to be cautious in these areas and also look out for highway crews that are out inspecting flood damage on roadways and bridges.
