Baptist church presents 'Living Nativity'

Community Baptist Church of New Prague will continue to share a Living Nativity with the community during the Christmas Season. The nativity will be in place Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 20 and 21, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the church, which is located at 500 County Road 37 in New Prague.

The Living Nativity consists of six scenes. The first is indoors and consists of the prophets Micah and Isaiah sharing the prophecies of the coming Messiah. Scenes two and three are outdoors, with the shepherds around a fire sharing the message that God has given them about the birth of the Savior. They then lead the visitors to the manger scene where Joseph, Mary and the Baby Jesus are viewed amongst the animals while a song is played about the purpose of His birth .

Visitors will then be led indoors, where they will view a temple scene with Simeon and Anna rejoicing over the birth of the Messiah. A video displaying how the life of God's son can bring purpose to your every day life will be shared.

This is a great opportunity to experience the real meaning of Christmas. There is no charge, and all are welcome to attend.
