Battling the snow

A snowplow clears a path along New Prague's Main Street Monday morning, Jan. 22. Snow began falling in the early morning hours and is expected to continue throughout the day and into Tuesday morning. Forecasts call for between 8 and 12 inches before it is all over with. Classes were cancelled at New Prague Area Schools and many other schools in the area, and the Minnesota Department of Transportation is advising no travel in South Central Minnesota.
