A son, Joshua Kenneth, was born to Kayla Reed of Belle Plaine and Joseph Lindly of Jordan on Friday, Mar. 11, 2011, at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague. He weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19-3/4 inches long.
Grandparents are Shelly Reed, Belle Plaine, Sue Nelson and Bernie Lindly, both of Belle Plaine.
Great-grandparents are Merlin and Delores Conrad, Inver Grove Heights, and Sheldon and Kathy Nelson, Jordan.
Braxton Marcus Bauer
A son, Braxton Marcus, was born to Mark and Lacey (Weeks) Bauer of Kasson on Wednesday, Mar. 9, 2011, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester. He weighed 9 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21-1/4 inches long. He is joined by brother Carter, 4.
Grandparents are LeRoy and Bonnie Bauer, Montgomery, and Tom and Peggy Weeks, Kenyon.
Great-grandparents are Marilyn Simota, New Prague, Perry and Diane Weeks, Battle Lake, and Avis Skjeie, Rochester.
Macy Melissa Giesen
A daughter, Macy Melissa, was born to Luke and Kathy (Friedges) Giesen of New Prague on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at United Hospital in St. Paul. She weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20 inches long. She joins brother Tyler, 2.
Grandparents are Norbert and Mary Giesen, New Prague, and Al and Pat Friedges, Webster.
Great-grandparents are Helene Friedges, Elko, and Verena Streefland, Webster.
