A son, Henry Joseph, was born to Eric and Yola (Foik) Hartmann of Prior Lake on Tuesday Feb. 23, 2010, at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. He weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 22-1/2 inches long. Grandparents are Donald and Camilla Hartmann of New Prague, and Barbara Foik of Wisconsin Dells, WI.

Great-grandparent is Honorata Sikorski of Hickory Hills, IL.

Claire Margaret Meyer

A daughter, Claire Margaret, was born to Chris and Lynn (Sticha) Meyer of New Prague on Monday Feb. 22, 2010, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. She weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 21 inches long. She joins Ben, 19 months.

Grandparents are Ken and Marge Sticha of New Prague, and George and Cindy Meyer of Madison Lake.

Great-grandparents are Lois McCabe of Cleveland, Marion Meyer of Madison Lake, Jeanette Sticha of Lonsdale, and Adeline Horejsi of Northfield.

Blaine August Kriesel III

A son, Blaine August, was born to Blaine Jr. and Kristin Kriesel of New Prague on Friday Feb. 19, 2010, at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague. He weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 18-1/2 inches long. He joins Alexander, 3.

Grandparents are Stephen and Joyce Schiller of Sartell, and Blaine Sr. and Carol Kriesel of Coon Rapids.

Great-grandparents are Norine Halaas of Wadena, Betty Furan of Fargo, ND, and Orlin McCollor of Minneapolis.

Sophia Morgan Studnicka

A daughter, Sophia Morgan, was born to Daniel and Ann (Brake) Studnicka of Shakopee on Friday Jan. 29, 2010, at St. Francis Re-gional Medical Center in Shakopee. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and was 19-1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Ken and Monica Studnicka of New Prague, and Jack and Nancy Brake of Lismore.

Great-grandmother is Dorothy C. Sticha of New Prague.

Greta Helen Jabs

A daughter, Greta Helen, was born to Nathan and Sarah (Schoenbauer) Jabs of Jordan on Thursday Jan. 28, 2010, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. She weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Grandparents are Carl and Helen Schoenbauer, and Ron and Connie Jabs, all of Jordan.
