Kaiden Kurt Young
A son, Kaiden Kurt, was born to Kurt and Cris Young, Le Center, on Thursday, April 19, 2007, at Immanuel-St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato. Kaiden weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 22 inches long. He was welcomed home by his brother Trevor, 11, and sister Nikaija, 3.
Grandparents are Dorothy Knish (Dick Esser) and Darrell and Donna Knish, all of Kilkenny, and Tom and Margo Young of New Prague. The baby's great-grandparents are Wilfrid and La Vonne Goettl of Le Center, Georgean and Walter Kohoutek of New Prague and Stan and Marion Young of Montgomery.
Megan Irene Marek
A daughter, Megan Irene, was born to Bill and Cheryl (Mathe) Marek, Montgomery, on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague. Megan weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. She joins one sister Mikayla, 21 months old.
Grandparents are George and Irene Marek of New Prague and Larry Mathe of Roseville.
Mitchell John McConnell
A son, Mitchell John, was born to Matt and Michelle (Gintner) McConnell, Belle Plaine, on Sunday, April 15, 2007, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. He weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
Grandparents are John and Julie Gintner of Montgomery and Gary and Linda McConnell, formerly of Belle Plaine and now living in Roundup, MT.
Bradan William Sirek
A son, Bradan William, was born to Bill and Amy (Donahue) Sirek, Elko New Market, on Friday, April 13, 2007, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. He weighed 9 pounds, 1 ounce, and was 22 inches long. He joins one sister Megan Ann, 5 1/2, and one brother Ryan Richard, 3 1/2.
Grandparents are Ellie Sirek of Elko New Market, Ann Donahue of New Prague and Matt Donahue of Minnetonka. The baby's great-grandmother is Ethel Donahue of International Falls.
Annie Lenore Johnson
A daughter, Annie Lenore, was born to Tory and Katie (Krava) Johnson, New Prague, on Saturday, March 31, 2007, at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague. She weighed 9 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
Grandparents are Dick and Lenore Krava and Les and Marlys Johnson, all of New Prague. The baby's great-grandparents are Clarence and Clara Giesen of Union Hill.
