Blood drive does well in temporary location

Patrick Fisher, Staff Writer

Turnout was good for Memorial Blood Centers' community blood drive at New Prague's Queen of Peace Hospital on August 23.

The drive is usually held in the Jameen Mape Conference Center in the hospital's basement, but due to construction work, blood drive organizers had to improvise, the organization held registration in the main lobby of Queen of Peace Hospital and then had donors go into a mobile donation center set up in the parking lot across from the hospital.

It's going very well
