Bode - Kohoutek
Heather Kohoutek, daughter of Gary and Judy Kohoutek of New Prague, and Marc Bode, son of Marc and Rachel Bode of Courtland, were married Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the Profile Event Center in Minneapolis. Jim Albani officiated the wedding.
The bride was escorted by her father and her son, Mason Kohoutek of New Prague. Kelly Greenleaf of Minneapolis, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mandi Sampeer of Shakopee, Amber Ceplecha of New Prague, cousin of the bride, Julie Hull of Le Center, cousin of the bride, Michelle Greenleaf of New Prague, cousin of the bride, and Meredith Zempel of Clarkfield, sister of the groom. Junior Bridesmaid was Mia Kohoutek of Apple Valley, niece of the bride. Zoe Kohoutek of Apple Valley, niece of the bride, and Leah Bode of Courtland, niece of the groom, were flower girls.
Matt Bode of Courtland, brother of the groom, and Mason Kohoutek of New Prague, son of the bride, served as best men. Groomsmen were Chris Kohoutek of Apple Valley, brother of the bride, Justin Mettler of Sioux Falls, SD, Tony Hulke of Courtland, Ryan Hulke of St. Peter, and Nick Stevenson of Nicollet. Max Enter of Mankato, nephew of the groom, was junior groomsman. Brady Greenleaf of Apple Valley, cousin of the bride, was ringbearer.
Nate Voges of Mankato was usher. Jess Greenleaf of Apple Valley, cousin of the bride, was the bride’s personal attendant.
Brady Greenleaf of Apple Valley was gift bearer. Hostess and reader was Beth Kohoutek of Apple Valley, sister- in-law of the bride. Program attendants were Mercedes Enter of Mankato and Brooklyn Bode of Courtland, both nieces of the groom. Photography was by Grady Photography.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Profile Event Center. The couple resides in New Prague and will take a honeymoon in the future.
The bride has a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and is a registered nurse senior at the Minnesota Sex Offender Program in St. Peter.
The groom has a bachelor’s degree in recreation, parks and leisure from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and is a recreational therapist at the Minnesota Security Hospital in St. Peter.
