Bohumil Pavek, 90

Bohumil T. Bob Pavek, 90, of New Prague, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, at Mala Strana Health Care Center in New Prague.

Born on December 17, 1917, in Cedar Lake Township, Scott County, Bob was a son of John F. and Agnes (Schoenbauer) Pavek. Born and raised in the New Prague area, he attended country school and St. Wenceslaus Catholic School. On May 12, 1941, he married Anna C. Trnka at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Veseli and they farmed near Veseli. Bob worked for Vosejpka Electric of Lonsdale and Hruska Our Own Hardware in New Prague until opening his own business, Bob's Repair Service
