Both Operating Referendum questions pass
WEM School District residents passed both questions Tuesday night pertaining to the WEM School District 2143 Operating Referendum Special Election. The first question asked for the renewal of the current operating referendum in the amount of $676.73 per pupil. This question passed 1,063 to 374. The second question would increase the locally supported funding per pupil by $450. This question passed 768 to 666. The passage of the second question was contingent upon the passage of the first question.
