Boys track takes 3rd at Waseca.

After a miserable, wintry start to the track season, the TCU boys track finally got outside and participated at a meet in Waseca yesterday.

“Overall things went pretty good. The Titans took 3rd out of 5 teams,” said the boys‘ coach Brian Mikel.

The final standings were:  5th Dover Eyota/St Charles 47 points, 4th Northfield 59 points, 3rd TCU 70 points, 2nd Le Sueur-Henderson 78 points, and 1st Waseca with 99 points.

Mikel said the team was a little rusty in some of the field events and that they were missing a few athletes due to Confirmation, but he added he was hopeful the team can build off the team’s second outdoor performance of the season.

“We still have a long way to go as far as getting in better condition,” he said.
