Boys track team wins Farmington Relays; second at home meet

The New Prague High School boys track team finished on top at the five-team Farmington Relays Tuesday, April 12. Three days later they placed second in a home triangular, behind a powerful Mankato East team.

The Trojans have been competing at the Farmington Relays for years, and coach Johnny Josephson said he’s been told this is the first time they’ve won the meet.

The Trojans had 131.5 points, well ahead of second place Farmington (72). Prior Lake was third (57), South St. Paul fourth (44) and Simley fifth (26).
