Buccaneers start season 2-4

The WEM boys basketball team has started its 2017-18 season with a 2-4 overall record after losing 74-44 to Waseca in a nonconference battle Tuesday, Dec. 19. WEM opened with a loss to Le Sueur-Henderson, a win over Kenyon-Wanamingo, a loss to United South Central, a win over Faribault BA and now back-to-back losses to Maple River, 69-67 in overtime and Waseca.
