Bucs drop season finale to Mayer Lutheran

The WEM football team finished their 2016 regular season with a 4-4 record after losing 34-20 to Mayer Lutheran Wednesday in Mayer. The Crusaders finished the season with a 7-1 record and a share of the Sub-District Championship. Dallas McBroom tossed touchdown passes to Taylor Glende and Tanner Ranslow. Brody Boran scored the third touchdown on a 30 yard run. WEM will play NRHEG in the Section 2AA Quarterfinals Tuesday, Oct. 25 at New Richland.
