Bucs win South Sub-Section opener

The WEM boys basketball team, 24-3 overall, opened South Sub-Section Tournament action Tuesday night with a 75-36 win over Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial. The Bucs will play NRHEG Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Mankato East High School in the Sub-Section Semifinals. WEM finished their regular season tied for the Gopher Conference title.
