Candidate forum is Thursday

Voters in the New Prague Area School District will get the chance to meet the candidates as the district holds a candidate forum and panel discussion at 7 p.m Thursday, Oct. 27, at the New Prague Middle School.

There are six candidates vying for three 4-year terms on the November 8 ballot. They are Marty Beckius, Don Dvorak, Pam Tietz, Amy Trygestad, Jerry Walerius and Diane Weyrick. Weyrick is the only incumbent running for reelection. Tim Heinen and Rod Tietz are both stepping down after their current terms end.

All six candidates have been invited to take part in the candidate forum.

The New Prague Times will include candidate profiles of all six candidates in the school board election in its October 27 edition.
