CC boys ready for Section meet
The New Prague Trojan boys cross country team will enter the Section 2AA meet Thursday, Oct. 27, at Gale Woods Park in Minnetrista. The team has been preparing all season with its sights set on this meet.
The Trojans had their final preparation for the meet Tuesday, Oct. 18, when they competed in the Wright County Conference East Division meet at Lake Rebecca Park in Delano.
"Our athletes have made commitments to each other this season to train hard and intelligently, be present and focused, be positive and have fun, and take care of oneself outside of practice," Coach Nick Meyer said. "In turn, they have become better competitors and bonded together as a team."
The Trojans arrived at the conference meet ready to perform at a high level, and they succeeded, Meyer said.
