Samantha Goblirsch of Elko New Market, daughter of Steve and Nancy Goblirsch of Elko, and Jay Chlan of Elko New Market, son of Ken and Cathy Chlan of Webster, announce their engagement.

Samantha recently graduated with a special education degree from Southwest Minnesota State University. She is currently applying for a teaching job around the area.

Jay graduated from Dakota County Technical College in 2009. He is currently employed as a welder with Despatch Industries in Lakeville.

A May 21, 2016 wedding will be held at St. Nicholas Church in New Market.
