Christopher Stachowiak, 42
Christopher J. Stachowiak, 42, of New Prague, died on Friday, Nov. 18, 2005, at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague.
He was born on December 24, 1962, in St. Paul, to Bernard and Joan (Koehnen) Stachowiak. Christopher was raised in St. Paul, moved to New Market in 1991, and to New Prague in 1994. He attended Harding High School in St. Paul. He is a former trucker for C.H. Lumber in Prior Lake. Christopher loved hunting and fishing.
Christopher is survived by his fiancee, Linda Herrmann, New Prague; former wife, Brenda Stachowiak, Lonsdale, daughter, Jamie (Joel) Konop, Evanston, WY; son, Adam Stachowiak, Lonsdale; stepson, Aaron Herrmann, Minnetonka; mother, Joan Stachowiak, Woodbury; two brothers and two sisters, Bernard Stachowiak, Newport, Madonna (Randy) Barnett, Woodbury, Catherine (Michael) Lowe, Inver Grove Heights, Robert (Katie) Stachowiak, Cottage Grove; one grandson, Christopher Konop, Evanston, WY; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague. Rev. Francis Roach officiated. Services were followed by cremation.
Pallbearers were Bryan, Emil and Ron Pexa, Randy Barnett, Michael Lowe and Robert Stachowiak.
Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday and from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague.
