City’s Planning Commission reviews comprehensive plan
By Patrick Fisher
The New Prague Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the updated Comprehensive Plan at its meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 26.
Changes had been made to the plan at a workshop on January 19 and the commission was reviewing the changes before a continuation of the public hearing to be held tonight (Thursday) at 6:30 p.m.
Major changes to the plan include taking some land on the east side of the city out of the development plan and designating 70 acres of land along Highway 19 on the west side of the city for commercial use.
