City is ready for state funding cuts

Budget adjustments made by the City of New Prague earlier this year will help it survive the cuts in local government aid announced last week by Gov. Tim Pawlenty.

On Tuesday, June 16, the governor announced plans to eliminate an approximate $2.7 billion deficit in the state budget.
