Clara Hrabe, 85

Clara A. Hrabe, 85, of New Prague, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, at The Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine.

Clara was born March 2, 1924, at Veseli, a daughter of John and Anna (Kasparek) Simon. She attended the Veseli Parochial School and was a lifelong resident of the Elko and New Prague area. She married Raymond Hrabe on October 23, 1945, at Veseli. Clara was a homemaker and was a former member of the St. Catherine Church CCW. She moved into New Prague in 2001. She loved playing cards, participating in the Tuesday and Thursday Morning Miller's Tap Card Club.
