Consultant looked at for pool startup

The New Prague Area School Board will consider a contract for a pool consultant at its October 26 meeting.

The Joint Powers Board representing the school district and city of New prague that will oversee the operations of the new swimming pool being built by the district as well as the city’s outdoor pool, made a recommendation to the board to contract with Duane Proell, a consultant, who would help the district and Joint Powers Board to develop plans and programs and oversee hiring of a manager so the facility is ready to go on a projected June 15, 2017, start date.
