Council accepts hotel study
The Montgomery City Council accepted the Market Feasibility Study completed by Core Distinctions Group at its meeting Monday night, May 18. The study is considered an important step which could lead to a developer constructing a hotel in the community. The council also approved the transfer (issuing) of a liquor license, the acquisition of property on Lexington Avenue for possible development, the purchase of lots in Fischer Estates, and denied a request for angle parking on 1st Street.
