Council accepts report for work on Lexington Avenue

At its Monday meeting, the New Prague City Council unanimously accepted a feasibility report for additional work on Lexington Avenue N.

The added work for the street is north of Scott County State Aid Highway 37 (Seventh Street NE) and will cover about 40 feet of Lexington Avenue to just past Bruzek Lane. Work began last week on reconstructing Lexington from Second Street to Seventh Street NE. The new area was added due to recent deterioration of that portion of the street.
