Council chooses new member
The New Prague City Council chose a fifth member to fill the seat left open when Jenna Tuma resigned earlier this year. At the council’s Monday, July 17, meeting Margaret Bass was chosen from the three residents who applied for the opening. Bass will be sworn into office at the council’s Monday, Aug. 7, meeting. Tuma resigned as her family moved to Minneapolis to be closer to work. For more see an upcoming print issue of The New Prague Times.
