Crash sends two to hospital

Failing to stop at a highway intersection, Thursday, Oct. 30, caused a two-vehicle accident and sent the two drivers to Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague.

Richard Maleski, 65, of New Market, and Scott Nutter, 41, of Montgomery, were taken to the hospital after their vehicles collided at the intersection of Le Sueur County Road 28 and State Highway 13/21.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Maleski was driving a 1998 Ford Escort eastbound on Co. Rd. 28 and failed to stop at the highway stop sign.
