Crubaugh - Kubes
Katie Elizabeth Kubes, daughter of Ken and Brenda Kubes of New Prague, and Christopher Thomas Crubaugh, son of Thomas and Mary Crubaugh of Woodbury, were married Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas in St. Paul, with Father John Malone of St. Paul officiating. Barb Beckius of New Prague, Godmother of the bride, and Steve Madson of Green Bay, WI, Godfather of the groom, were lectors.
The bride was escorted by her father. Heather Haecherl of Phoenix, AZ, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Leigh Connor of Minneapolis, Lisa Jabas of West St. Paul, Julie Moss of Minneapolis, Rachel Houdek of Raleigh, NC, Kayla Gill of New Prague, cousin of the bride, and Molly Beckius of Minneapolis, cousin of the bride. Piper Berg of Denver, CO, cousin of the groom, and Ezra Kubes of New Prague, cousin of the bride, were flower girls. Avery Bartyzal of Minneapolis, cousin of the bride, was the bride’s personal attendant.
Patrick Hiner of Warsaw, Poland, was best man. Groomsmen were William Crubaugh of Woodbury, brother of the groom, Tony Kubes of St. Louis Park, brother of the bride, Dave Ugai of St. Paul, Joe Berg of Denver, CO, cousin of the groom, and Ryan Kubes of New Prague, cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Sawyer Berg of Denver, CO, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Colin Charlson of Minnetrista, Mark Jundt of Chicago, IL, and Joe Lepsche of St. Paul.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at A’bulae in St. Paul. The couple took a wedding trip to St. Lucia, and lives in St. Paul.
The bride has a bachelor of arts in finance and accounting from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, and works at Target Corporation. The groom has a bachelor of arts in finance from the University of St. Thomas and works at Northwestern Mutual.
