David Elrod, 60
David L. Elrod, 60, of Montgomery, died at his home on Sunday, April 7, 2013.
David was born on October 15, 1952, in Bloomington, a son of Ray and Helen (McClain) Elrod. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Bloomington, and married Karen Hanson on March 17, 1973, in Fargo, ND. He enjoyed all cowboy items and doing Wild West reenactments. David was also known as Sammule T. Bass.
He is survived by children Chandra Enger, Montgomery, and Cassidy (Chad) Larson, Eagan; two brothers Gary (Debbie) Elrod, Hampton, SC, and Bill Elrod, Sumpter, SC; three grandchildren Logan Enger, Callan and Brady Larson.
He was preceded in death by his wife; and his parents.
A visitation and memorial service will be held at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery on Thursday, April 11, from 4 to 7 p.m.
