Debbie Zerr, 35
Debbie Rose Zerr, 35, of Burnsville, died Thursday, April 10, 2008, at her home.
Debbie was born in New Prague on September 6, 1972, a daughter of Leonard and Rosemary (Tupy) Franek. She married David Zerr on October 2, 1999, in New Prague. Debbie loved spending time with her children and she worked as a childcare provider and was a member of the Dakota County Daycare Association. She was a Girl Scout Troop Leader for the Dan Patch Unit Troop 10251 and was an active volunteer at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband; children Chelsea and Carson; her mother; sisters Donna (Brian) Eshleman and Karen Hinderscheit, both of New Prague; nieces Cassie, Tiffany and Megan Hinderscheit; nephew Brandon Dayon; father and mother-in-law Ron and Lorraine Zerr, Crystal; sister-in-law Deb (Jeff) Dayon, Oak Grove; brother-in-law Wayne Zerr, Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, April 15, at 1 p.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Savage, with Rev. Michael M. Tix officiating.
Interment was at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tiffany and Cassie Hinderscheit, Deb Dayon, Wayne Zerr, Cindy Finnamore, Brian Eshleman and Teddy Simon. Honorary pallbearers were Roger Tupy, Megan Hinderscheit and Michelle Jacobson.
Visitation was held Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church and Tuesday one hour before the Mass.
Memorials are preferred to the children.
Arrangements were with the McNearney Funeral Home in Shakopee.
