Dennis M. Kallal, 58

Dennis M. Kallal, 58, of Chandler, AZ, died on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006.

He was born in Faribault and raised in Lonsdale. Dennis graduated from New Prague High School and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a degree in business and economics. He served in the United States Air Force and had a long career in sales, marketing and executive management at national and international companies in Minnesota supplying processing equipment for the electronics industry, and later with Advanced Systems Inc. in Phoenix. Most recently, Dennis was co-founder and president of DALUX Equipment Service Corporation. Dennis also volunteered his time and talents to assist in the establishment and growth of the Family Involvement Center of Phoenix, a non-profit, family-driven resource and training center providing education and support activities for at-risk youth, their families and human services workers.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jane; children, Kimberly and Joe; grandson, Evan; parents, George and Alvina Kallal; sister, Jean and her husband, Ray Greenbush; nephews, Jeff and Brad.

Dennis will be remembered for his strong character, work ethic and discipline, storytelling, humor, zest for life, love of family and admired for always being available to help his friends and neighbors in times of need.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 3, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Tempe, AZ.

Visitation was held on Thursday, at the Carr-Tenney Mortuary in Tempe, AZ.

Interment was at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, AZ.
