Doris Barta, 93, of New Prague, died Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague.

She was born September 19, 1917, in Tunnel, NY. She is survived by her husband, Cliff Barta of New Prague, and by stepchildren and two nieces in New York.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at Queen's Court, 311 Columbus Ave. N., in New Prague, with Chaplain Mary Jean Horstmann officiating.

Interment will be at Cincinnatus, NY.
