Dorothy Kirschner, 76
Dorothy Mae (Piper) Kirschner, 76, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, in Phoenix, AZ, following a heart attack.
Dorothy's funeral was held on Thursday, December 13, 2007, at the St. George Catholic Church in Apache Junction, AZ.
A Memorial Mass will be offered in her honor at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church on Saturday, Dec. 29, at 11:15 a.m. A lunch reception will follow the Mass.
Born June 5, 1931, in Letcher, SD, Dorothy's family settled in Wells where she grew up and attended school. She married Charles Kirschner in 1953 and they began their family in Minneapolis. In 1971, the family relocated to New Prague.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles L. Kirschner; six children, Kathryn Ann, Lynn (Greg) Geraci, David (LuAnne) Kirschner, Paul (Cathy) Kirschner, Nancy Kirschner, Julie (Ray) Hunter; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
