ECFE offers discussion on building reading skills

A child's vocabulary and understanding of language in Kindergarten is important to later reading success. Children with parents, daycare providers and preschool teachers who provide quality, language rich experiences do better in school.

New Prague Early Childhood Family Education will offer a discussion on the value of conversation and its role in building reading skills.

This program, for Daycare Providers and Early Childhood Teachers, will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at the Family and Community Services Center, located at 1234 Columbus Ave. N.
