ECSE has double the fun

New Prague's Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) had double the turnout for its Family Fun Night from a year ago. Held Thursday, May 20, in the gym of the New Prague Central Education Campus, more than 200 children and parents attended the evening of games, activities and snacks.

Amy VandenBerg, ECSE coordinator, explained it was the third annual family fun night. She noted their first year they held it at New Prague Middle School. They had the New Prague Girl Scouts troop help at that event.

Renee Hartman, ECSE social worker, said the aid the Girl Scouts gave was part of their service project work.
