Eggers to celebrate 100 years

 Edgar “Eddie” Eggers of Waterville is getting ready to celebrate his 100th birthday. 

"Next, I’ll go to 101,” laughed Eggers, who remains young at heart, quick witted, and surprisingly speedy in his wheelchair. 

The long-time Waterville banker was born on April 25, 1917, in Reeder, North Dakota, the son of Pastor Henry and Marie Eggers.
