Why are you running?
What is your position on transportation issues, and what do you think of raising the gasoline tax?
What are your views on the state's economy, in light of the recent revenue forecast that shows a large deficit in the state's budget?

Ray Cox, Northfield
Ray Cox grew up in the Northfield area, graduating from Northfield High School in 1969 and St. Olaf College in 1973. He owns and operates Northfield Construction Company, employing approximately 30 people building residential and light commercial buildings. He served four years in the Minnesota legislature, is a board member of Riverland Bank in Jordan, the Northfield Community Action Center and the Northfield area Foundation. He previously served 15 years on the Northfield School Board and five years on the Northfield Planning Commission. He and his wife Ellen have been married for 32 years and have three grown children.
Why are you running?
I would like to return to the legislature to help create good government. There are several issues I'd like to continue working on
