Elizabeth Skluzacek, 95

Elizabeth Betty Skluzacek, 95, of Lonsdale, died on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, in Northfield.

She was born July 7, 1915, in Lonsdale, a daughter of Jacob and Rose Uhlir. Betty married George A. Skluzacek.

She is survived by a son George E. Skluzacek; a sister Mary Kubes; grandchildren Karen (Jerry) Gordon, Diane (Doug) Whipple, JoAnn Novotny, Kevin Novotny, Allen (Michelle) Novotny, Marta (Brian) Drew, David (JoAnna) Poinar and Lisa Poinar; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter Betty Rose Novotny; son Edward T. Skluzacek; grandson Ronnie Novotny; daughter-in-law Linda Skluzacek; and four brothers Frank, Emil, William and Richard Uhlir.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 27, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lonsdale.

Interment was at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Lonsdale.

Visitation was held Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the White Funeral Home in Lonsdale, and also one hour prior to the services on Monday.
