Elko Express qualifies for State Class B Tournament

The Elko Express baseball team qualified for the State Class B Tournament Monday, winning its second straight game in a four-team Region 5B double-elimination playoff being played at Elko.

In its first game on Sunday, Elko defeated Savage, 3-2.

On Monday night the Express downed Burnsville in eight innings, 10-0, to gain a berth in the State Class B tourney.

Glenn Parker pitched a two-hitter against Burnsville.
